Krytox? metallization fluids have outstanding evaporation properties, allowing metallization processes to run at lower and more constant evaporation temperatures. The distillation process used to make these fluids produces a product that results in less residue upon evaporation. 

Krytox? CBF 100 fluids will have a boiling point of about 318 °C (604 °F). Krytox? CBF 103 should not be used as a boiling fluid because of the possibility of decomposition at higher temperatures.
